The Hoosier Hills Conference results may help some out in actually realizing how things stack up at a few weights or just how close a few of the matches (re-matches) may be.

Mosleys beat Glass twice I believe and Philpot had a major of Redmond both times before the fall I believe. 195 and 126 will be fun to watch

I do think Franklin has what it takes to win this regional. His conditioning should be a lot better then at the Jeff classic he looked gassed after the first round against dilbeck. Edited by RichardMowery

Mustang 13 I do remember the match last year , Franklin was losing when the pin happened if I remember correctly.. South has a shot of a upsetiting Franklin as well ...I think there will be many good weight classes ,126 included will be one of the better (closer ) weight classes .. We will have wait and see...

I'll take Bullock over Sellmer.

Also don't sleep on Chapman at 160.

Biggest shocker of the day??? No Madison wrestlers, 2 years out from winning Regionals. No Tskin/TripleB/Prepare2Win/Grenadier2012 in attendance. Should be lots of food in hospitality room and not as many refs hating us.

I guess I can finally make picks!!!

Old school,

It's not the deepest but it has it's fair share of state contenders. These are the best chances for punching their ticket.

Both rooks

Franklin

Herrin

Redmond

Galligar

Sutton

Sonner

This is probably one of the weakest Regionals in the State. How many State placers you think get out of this Regional??

Well according to the IHSWCA Team State Quota system that reflects several years of data for Sectional and Regional depth, Jeffersonville ranks right in the middle of the regionals. Not sure you can say near the weakest regional unless your only criteria for determining this is prior and projected state champion production. In which case that would be a very narrow data set for determining actual overall regional strength.

navy80 keep in mind the depth of the 285 class.  I bet only winner of this Regional makes it out (Sutton or Galligar).

Good point...honestly I can see them both making it out or none of them!  Hwt's are unpredictable and the division so deep!
