MUKnights
Marian University is starting a wrestling program with the inaugural season being the 2016-2017 season. The Marian University Knights compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and have several sports programs that are competitive year after year and have won several national championships. The wrestling program is looking forward to continuing these successes on and off the mats. Marian University is a Franciscan Catholic institution rooted in the sponsorship values; dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship. The institution of nearly 3,000 students has 34 majors, 34 minors, 28 concentrations, and 1 certificate program offering degrees from Associate to Doctorate. The student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1 with 137 full-time professors on campus. With smaller class sizes, students have the ability to receive individual attention from professors who have actually worked in your field of study. Marian University is creating transformation leaders for service to the world. Marian University has a beautifully wooded campus located in Indianapolis, IN just minutes away from the downtown area where you can find restaurants, a vibrant art and music scene, and professional and college sporting events. The coaching staff at Marian University are searching for highly motivated student-athletes with high moral and character values who will work hard academically and athletically. The coaching staff is looking to create an environment that breeds success on and off the mat and gives student-athletes the opportunity to grow and excel through college and beyond.
