decbell1 Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 Columbus East has a ton of talented young wrestlers, and apparently, it’s not a secret around the state. The Olympians are ranked No. 20 by Indiana Mat.com in its statewide preseason poll. With most of its lineup back from last season and the addition of two middle school state champs, East will try to live up to that ranking. “They put a ton of time in this offseason,” East coach Chris Cooper said. “We wrestled a lot of team duals in the offseason and did pretty well. We have a lot of kids that are pretty dedicated wrestlers.” Sophomore Graham Rooks enjoyed a stellar freshman season, going 44-2 and finishing third in the state at 106 pounds.
