Alonzo Shepherd (IU), 5-0; TS: 16-15 133 lbs - Garth Yenter (MSU) dec. Chris Caton (IU), 10-3; TS: 16-18 The loss of some key IU starters (one to injury and two apparently to grade issues) have taking it toll on the Hoosiers chance of beating Purdue and Michigan St this season. While a few individuals wrestlers seem to be doing well at the end of the season, the late season holes in the line up resulted in IU finishing at the bottom of the Big 10 standings without a conference dual win. Bronxbomber
How many years has this been said. What's the line up look like next year This is an Indiana site and there are hardly any comments on IU on this forum Open mat forums, seem to have some long time fans with knowledge of the program posting comments
MattM
This is an Indiana site and there are hardly any comments on IU on this forum Open mat forums, seem to have some long time fans with knowledge of the program posting comments Not saying its the entire reason but, this website is mostly based on high school wrestling which has likely caused little discussion or even browsing of its college forum. On the other hand TOM, is designed to focus more on college wrestling which is why that forum garners more college discussion in general. I wouldn't mind seeing more college based discussion on this site (IU, PU, or otherwise), but not much has really developed in the last several years. Smooth34
Surprised Flo has IU ranked 14th. I guess they assume Walsh and Chalfant will score a lot at the NCAA's, but still don't think they are the 14th best team in the country.

Yeah Flo's College Team Rankings are just based on tournament strength. So, they are putting a lot of faith in those two placing high, plus maybe one or two others winning a match or so in the tournament.
