Wondered if that was coming down the pipe after he had a few defeats.  Less fire in the tank, few opponents left outside UFC, and less of a draw/pat-day after the loses.  He still had one heck of a dominate career for a number of years though.

While Alek had a heck of a career, he'll always be Fedor's brother.

Yup.  I say Emelianeko and jumped the gun.  Fedor probably not to long from following through.  Alek did have a solid career. 

 

I recall one fight in PRIDE where he looked like a dough boy that just woke up and was against some muscle bound bouncer type that was giving him death stares during the introduction.  Alek ended up knocking the guy out in less than a minute.
