MattM
One of Andrew Howe's major wrestling influences Donny Pritzlaff leaving Wisconsin. Story circulating around is that Pritzlaff may end up a Michigan assistant. http://www.uwbadgers.com/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/061211aaa.html

MattM
Why would he go from Wisconsin to Michigan? My feeling was it maybe something he felt he needed to do in order to expand the depth of his coaching resume. Pritz has been trying to court a head coaching job at a big school lately but hadn't obtained one. Since he's not going to take over the reigns at Wisconsin soon this maybe a way to show the next set of perspective schools he has a wider body of work in developing athletes and a team. As for Howe losing coaches Pritzlaff, Ruschell, and maybe Frayer too, along with the graduation of one practice partner does put him in a little bit of a bind. I'm guessing he has the preparation and mindset to make it through in Wisconsin, but it does put pressure on Coach Davis to get someone in there quick that is able to work with and help Howe. That all makes sense. I would be surprised if he doesn't take an Olympic Redshirt to prep if he is able. Any chance Wisconsin can pick up someone from another school who just graduated and wants some experience? I know I'm impressed with Davis' knowledge but I don't know anything about how easy he is to get along with.
