These are the only 3 that went? Wow, not a good turnout for us.

Too many choices between Senior Nationals (and their age group events), FloNoationals, and USA Folkstyle Nationals all going this weekend.  Which means even the talent that wants to compete is being spread out between the three events.

So what you are saying is ..... its like ...Classed?

I think he's saying that it's a good tournament, but not what it was before it had direct competition from 2 other tournaments.  Still, winning it is still a huge accomplishment.  For that matter, placing at it is a very good accomplishment.  Good luck to the IN wrestlers who are competing!

Doug lost a tough one to Green NJ.  He will come back in consolations.  Chad and Drake won.  Goldman getting close to wrestling -- 2 matches away.  Let's keep going southern Indiana.  You are great.

What was the score of the Green/Welch match.  Green is stud.

Green quick take-down, Doug escaape, 2nd period Green down no score.  3rd period Doug down, escape received penalty point for locked hands on Green, then Green got a take-down.  Doug close to an escape, match over.  Score 3-4.  Green was #2 seed. I believe he beat Roach and Irvine.

Chad Welch will be wrestling in the finals tomorrow night.  He beat Brennan (3rd place from NJ) in the Semis 12-0.  Will face Christian Barber (NJ State Champ) in the finals.  So far Chad has 3 falls and on major decision.

After Doug lost to Green, he came back to beat NC State Champ 13-2, beat 3x WY state champ 10-7, and beat MD 3x placer (4-1-2) 4-0.  He will wrestler Boontjer (CA 5th place) first match tomorrow in route to come back for 3rd.  After the match, Green did talk to Doug and told him he was his best match of the season (for what it's worth).  Every match Doug has had has been against a State Champ.  Sounds like pretty good competition there.
