Here's my case for Tommy Cash:

Undefeated in Middle School wrestling for all three years. He is a two time Middle School State champ (6th and 8th grade, did not compete in the tournament as a 7th grader). Numerous ISWA titles. He's won many large national level tournaments AND as of right now, his weight is perfect to likely fall as a 103 lber for next year. He's a freshman to watch for sure.

Tommy was also an All Duals Team member as he went 10-0 at the Schooboy Duals.....

not sure if he's ready for the pre season rankings just yet but keep an eye out for tony vaughn from elkhart memorial next year.....he should be a 103 pounder (or 106 possibly?) and is having a great 8th grade season....he placed 4th at his first shot at middle school state this year beating some tuff kids and losing 2 very close matches.....may not make it  this coming season but he will at some point......

and as for tommy cash.....yeah, he is every bit that good....

How many of you knew much about Boston until the first Rankings came out? There will be some kids that mature over the summer and have really good freshmen seasons.  ;D

The casual fan might not know, but most of the names people are making cases for have been successful for a while now.  Guys like Boston and Sliga weren't that surprising as freshmen for people who have been following Middle School, ISWA, Fargo results.

Please call him by his real name.  Most that know him call him Pee Wee   :)

Great story this kid is.

De' Angelo " Pee Wee" Barnes, will be an incoming freshman at Howe. He has only wrestled for the past two years and has a career record of 21-3 losing twice to Charlie Baker last season and took a loss at the Wayne Invitational this past weekend. He made his ISWA debut at the Beech Grove Folksytle Open placing 3rd at 91lbs. He will wrestle at Folkstyle state on March 19th at Warren. This kid has a GREAT MOTOR; and he has taken to wrestling like a fish to water.

From the Region, DARDEN SCHURG. (110-115lbs)

He comes from a long line of Schurg boys who wrestle in Indiana and recently won Middle School State defeating Harvey. He has placed in the ISWA for many years and he looks to be coming "of age" so to say...very physical wrestler.

Darden wrestles for Coaches Tsirtsis, Sessa, and Hawkins at RWA (Region Wrestling Academy).

I, of course, have to give a shout out for SCOTTIE SOPKO! He is someone to watch out for...he's a HOBART kid and has won many ISWA state titles and been on Team Indiana squads that have competed all over.
