H1N1
Was the Raider Folkstyle Tournament last weekend both an iswa & hyway sponsored event? Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought the same event couldn't be offered by multiple organizations like aau, hyway & iswa.
coops99
It was actually a Border Wars event
H1N1
Ah... interesting... I wonder if more tournaments will try to crosslist events with iswa, aau, border wars, now that iswa is offering folkstyle late into the spring.
wrestlinghog
Border Wars goes all summer, all the way to the start of next season. The Border War Nationals was on 11-7-2009.
IMAWRESTLER
Pretty sure it was a HYWAY event. http://www.hywaywrestling.com/userfiles/April%2010,%202010%20HYWA%20Wrestling%20Tournament%20at%20Harrison.pdf
TheGenerealsDad
I think it was originally planned to be an ISWA event and changed to Border Wars because it was going to be easier to handle the medals, score boards, etc by going through the Border Wars people with MYWAY's help. I don't believe you need a card of any kind for the border war tournaments either which opens it up to anyone. It was a very well ran tournament typical of the MYWAY tournaments.
