Camp Dates:  JUNE 17-20, 2010 (AGES 8-18)

CAMP IS OPEN TO OUT OF STATE WOMEN(Must have a USAW Card)

 

Clinicians: Katie Downing (National Women?s Team Member) +

King College Women Wrestlers + Indiana National Team Coaches

 

9 Practices + Conditioning + Camp Shirt

 

This camp is structured to be chaperoned by women the entire time. Camp will have separate advanced, intermediate, and novice training groups for individual instruction.  There will be several other coaches on hand to help, however all male coaches will be required to leave after the last session each night.  All campers will train and sleep in the wrestling room, and all meals will be served on the premises.  Each day will consist of training sessions, conditioning, instruction, meals, free time and recreational games.  Final practice will be structured as a dual meet.  Parents are encouraged to attend at any time.  Campers will not be allowed to leave the premises.  Commuters by request, at same rate.

 

Schedule:

Thursday, June 17th - Arrive 5-6pm, 1 Practice

Friday-Saturday - 3 Practices/day, Conditioning, Recreation

Sunday, June 20th - 2 Practices, Dual Meet, Group Photo

Departure from Camp at 2pm.

 

Cost: $150.00

Great news for an additional camp opportunity this summer!

 

I have been working with Team Michigan to link the Indiana camp with the Michigan camp this summer.  The Indiana Women's Camp, as you know, is from June 17th to June 20th.  The Michigan Women's Camp starts the next day, June 21st through June 24th.  We are discussing details, but we are working on providing rides to the Michigan camp and back to Indy after the Michigan camp.  The camp director has said that he has at least three interested in attending both in his initial discussions.  Check out the camp pages on Facebook and I have attached both camp registrations.

If you are interested in attending both or just the Indiana Camp, we will work out transportation to/from the camps if that is an issue.

Registrations are starting to come in for the camp!

 

This past weekend Fila Cadet All-Americans from Indiana - Sarah Hildebrandt, Demi Strub, and Cayla Allen all coming to the camp. Congratulations to Sarah Hildebrandt for placing 2nd in the Fila Junior division and champion in the Fila Cadet Division and being named Outstanding Wrestler!!

Registration deadline is May 31st. Please try and mail in your registration by this Saturday. I'll except all registrations to include the free camp shirt postmarked by then. If anyone is having any issues being able to pay the entire fee at this time, we will accept a $50 deposit to secure your spot and camp shirt. Balance will be due at the start of camp.
