Only 5 cavemen in the finals and 4 champs?

on any given day any of those 5 can be the best in the state.

Beck has proved he is the class of 112

Schrader has shown he can hang with Tsirtsis wrestling him 3-1

Stahl is an All-American and a former runner up who had a rough day at Bellmont

Lentz has experience and him vs. Cleveland can go either way on any given day

and Thomas also wrestled Travis close and could get him on any day.

be it crazy but I think it is possible. not probable that these can happen

I don't see anyone beating Roach at 145.   Also a reply to someone that said if Willis opens up his offense

he will win 160.  I have seen Willis wrestle 2 matches in the last 2 years  Last year vs Mark Myers at the Traicoff

Myers won 4-1.  Willis did show a good defense since Myers had pinned everyone til then.  This year I saw the

McMurray match which McMurray won 1-0.  Where is the offense?

I guess this is not going to be a real debate given that you have only seen Willis wrestle twice -- once as a frosh and once as a soph against a two-time state champ.

Simply, Willis did not wrestle his style against McMurray.  If you have seen Willis wrestle other matches, you have seen dominating offense and amazing athletic ability.  Nothing against McMurray -- he is a great high school wrestler.

I would hope as a wrestling fan (or former wrestler) you can appreciate that a young wrestler's second bite at a hyped opponent is always better.  The nerves are gone and confidence helps the wrestler perform better.  With a 1-0 first match, I can't wait to see the second match.

OK before anyone criticises these I picked many of these because they were on the same School Boy FS National Dual team 4 years ago.

That team included: Mason Todd; Jared McKinley; Conner Mullins; Justin Kieffer; Jason Tsirtsis; Matt Milton; Derek Bevans; Tony Lovejoy; Eric Roach; Frank Porras; Blake Marshall; Joshua Williams; Logan Cooper; Cameron Vlahos; Braden Atwood; Chadd Low; Donald Campbell; Mark Collett; and Jose Rameirez

Not sure if all these kids are wrestling but I think there are definately more than a couple of champs in that bunch.

Heavyhands:

You are right , I did make an unfair assessment of Willis's ability.  When I saw him against Myers last

year at the Traicoff, I did comment to one of our other CP fans, that that kid will win a state championship

or 2 before he is done with high school.  I also am looking forward to a rematch with McMurray, should it turn out that  way.  I don't think I would make a bet either way.  I just hope there is more offense.  It reminds me of college wrestling when 2 wrestlers are so evenly matched.  Look at Howe, how offensive he was in

high school.  Now he wins but has to work his you know what off to get the win.

Justdoit135:

How many undefeated wrestlers are there at 152, which you said is the deepest class.  I'm

not sure but there were 9 undefeated  at 145, which if 4 of them stay undefeated I would have to say that is the

                strongest class.

DuneFan: I'm my opinion records are decieving. You can be undefeated and just haven't wrestled any studs yet. I'm not saying this is the case with the undefeated wrestlers at 145. But i Believe a majority of the top wrestlers at 152 have wrestled the best competition and frequently. Again not the reason I say 152 is the deepest. I only say that because as I believe the top seven guys at 152 are all "D1 Caliber Stud" wrestlers. And at 145 I see only the top four at that same level that i would consider "D1 Caliber Studs". That is my basis for saying that 152 is deeper than 145. And again Just in my opinion. No offense to anyone.

Also: I think 125 is the second Deepest followed by 145.
