NavyGonzo
anybody got anything for 112? I know Roe from Adams Central is like 29-1, but hasn't really seen any good competition. I think bellmont has a decent 112 in Blake Adams. I also think Union City has a decent guy. Roe would probably be the favorite, but like I said he hasn't really wrestled any competition. The Delta sectional is pretty stacked at 112, so he'll get some competition at regional.
ivytechvarsity
Meska and Fiechter at 130 is going to be a good one. Meska missed basically all last year with an injury, but he has came back on a tear this year something like 33-1 with his one loss being the first match of the year by a point. That being said 130 is going to be a tough class, it will come down to who is healthy who comes to wrestle and how bad they want it.

NavyGonzo
My 130 prediction: 1. Feichter-SW 2. Meska-JC 3. Sprunger-SA 4. Walters-UC But throw Higgins and Hormann into the mix and it gets very competitive. This weight is gonna be very interesting.
decbell1
Not trying to start anything, but did Meska or the Union City kid even make it out of sectionals last year? Do the two of them have big victories this year that give everyone reason they will be in contention?
Y2CJ41
Meska didn't make it out of sectional because he was injured last year.

SWwrestling
Meska placed 6th last year at 125lbs. He lost to Thieme from AC 7-0 and then came back this year to beat Thieme 10-1, so he has came along ways since last season.
decbell1
Here is just a guess on seedings for sectionals. The records shown are taken from the start of the day today. When it comes to Union City and Blackford, I don't have too much information. Sometimes I wonder if they actually wrestle throughout the regular season or if they just show up at sectionals. I can't find more than one result for each of them. I tried to go off of the given criteria as much as possible. Please enlighten me if you have other information. Obviously some of this will change with the ACAC and NHC tournaments taking place today. 103 1. Cody Walburn-Adams Central (22-1) 2. Benjamin Fiechter-Southern Wells (25-3) 3. Y2CJ41
One of Roe's closest matches is to a kid that is 16-15 on the year. That might be a big reason.

I don't think so... That Davis kid has probably wrestled Harvey and McKinley like 5 times each, so its gonna get closer every time. I guess I forgot that beating one kid that gave a ranked guy one good match automatically qualifies for an entire seasons worth of good competition. newking
he also pumped up in that 17-15 match. and im not saying that he should be ranked just from beatin that one kid. im just saying he can stick up with them. fair enough?
decbell1
I'm not sure the previous poster meant any disrespect to Roe, but he was simply stating a fact, not an opinion. He has gone 29-1 and to my knowledge, has not wrestled a single kid in the current Top 20 Rankings. He hasn't even cracked Y2's FW SS Rankings. I'm not saying he won't place Top 5 at state and I'm not saying he won't make it out of sectionals, but it is obvious that there aren't a whole lot of quality wins out of those 29.
