tyandky
Did anyone read this on themat Posted: 06/27/2009 at 10:07:40 pm I checked the scoring table and it shows that Florida actually beat Indiana and the penalty point was taken back. Does anyone know why? It says Florida took 3rd in pool D and Indiana 4th. Not that it matters as it looks like Florida just imploded in the consolations with several forfeits and no starters lost 50-15 against Michigan. How does a penalty point just disappear? Posted: 06/28/2009 at 3:54:40 pm Florida was originally penalized one point for unsportsmanlike conduct for one of their athletes throwing his mouthpiece. It was determined the penalty was incorrectly applied and subsequently removed

lpd096
I know in Nathan's (Cleveland) case, freestyle really took him out of his comfort zone which is why he decided to wrestle, he has been a folkstyler for years (and a very good one) so I commend him on wrestling both Greco/Freestyle because it will only make him better down the road. I am sure it was the case with Lentz as well. I believe both are outstanding football players and balancing the football workouts, etc. with freestyle in the Spring has been a challenge I am sure but both will be very successful in the future and I wish them both all the best. Drooke
I agree with lpd096's assessment. Whether it was in victory or defeat our wrestlers gained invaluable experiences in out great sport which will (imo) inevitably reward them in the future on the mat and in life.
