  4. Brenden will be wrestling today at 2:00 for the NCWA National championship against number one seed Sam Shames of MIT he has become an NCWA All-American good luck to all Indiana men and women still wrestling
  5. Brenden Campbell wrestling for the Naval Academy Prep School, will be wrestling for the NCWA National Championship in Allen TX, his opponent Sam Shames from MITJ
  6. Class of 2012 120lb class was I think probably one of the toughest in the country with 3 top 15 ranked nationally wrestlers who also finished the season ranked in the top 15
  7. Well I guess if your ever at the house again I owe you a descent pancake breakfast before a wrestling camp. Congrats young man on a job well done!!!!!
  8. Can't wait to see Campbell and Petrov square off again next year as the Naval Academy and Bucknell are in the same conference.

  11. May the Lord bless him and his family congrats on a fine job young man
  12. Brenden is at the Naval Academy prepatory school in Rhode Island. He haswrestled two open tourneys the first one he went 1-2 losing 6-4 to loch haven then beat an official kid from the USNA then lost 3-2 to a young man from Penn State. Last week he wrestled in collegeville Pa made it to the semis and possibly broke his ankle so he's waiting on x-rays
  13. If you have to pay then you should be allowed to attend any dual or tourney you wish. IndianaHSAA should have no say on the matter any more. Your children will finally get the comp. they deserve.
  14. I do agree, last years Class was arguably one of the top classes to come out of Indiana. For me it will be fun to watch the Campbell Petrov showdown another 4 years with Petrov at Bucknell and Campbell at the Naval Academy. Good luck to all this upcoming year!
  15. Buckeye, Hoosier, Boilermaker who cares the three letters on the singlet is what it's all about! United as one
  16. The 120 weight class on Indiana was killer this year 3 Intermat All Americans in one weight class anyone could have won but what a show the two in the finals put on
  17. Can anyone give updates on the Indiana vs Illinois dual hope the men did well
  18. A little bit of added info on brenden and Paul. They will be wrestling in the same conference in college. How fun will that be on the East Coast
  19. Well, I am Brenden's dad and I can say we are extremely proud of him and Paul. Both boys left everything on the mat. Brenden lost 2 state tournaments in great battles to 2 great wrestlers. Paul deserves to be the champion and will hold the title with great admiration.Brenden's career has had its ups and downs from appendix to to finals losses but those are the things that keep him motivated. He's always has a great outlook and this was no different. Brenden's exact words were ,"Everything happens for a reason in God's world and today he was better than I." Brenden wants to thank everyone that supported him the last 4 years and assures you as he moves to the next level there will be more disappointments but even better accomplishments. Congrats to the Petrov family and to Paul for their fine job of raising their children. and congrats to Brenden for being a wonderful son, you have given your mother and I more good memories than we could ask for, God willing many more to come.
  20. Have you seen Todd or campbell
  21. to all those that spoke bad of Cody, you should all be ashamed! You don't know the young man at all he's one of the best young men this state has ever seen. You get on here and talk trash about a young man without knowing facts! Get well young man and go show the country what Indiana represents on the college level in Minnesota. Its been a joy knowing you and having you at our house you and your family are to notch individuals don't listen to the small people who don't have anything else to do life except talk bad about great people. Good luck in your future I truely know you are going to do great things!

    Campbell?

I'll let everyone know what's going on. In October our youngest son was having severe headaches we took him to the ER. where he began having seizures. There was no explanation of this except for his BP was 195/140 which is totally not normal for a 13 year old. He spent 14 days in ICU at Riley. We left Riley under the care of many specialists including Adrenial, Neurologists, and Cardiologists and Endocronoligists. It has been a very trying year for our family and we have come to realize that there are things more important than wrestling. Brenden chose to stay home last night and be with his brother which ment alot to his little brother. Since all this has happened he has and will no longer be able to wrestle, play baseball in fact until we know what's going on and find the root of the problem for seizures, extreme migranes, and extreme hypertension he will not be able to participate in anything like a normal 13 year old. I give my son Brenden alot of compassion now because in the last 3 years its been him that's taught me what having heart and compassion for what means the most to you is what life is about and life is about God, Family, Wrestling. I would like to let you know it took 6 nurses to hold down his brother today when he came out of the anthesia (nice)! Thank you for the prayers, and hope to see all of you "Under the lights" with God's help.
  23. Well I know one of the wrestlers for NC was with his little brother who is going to have heart surgery at Riley today pretty good exscuse for not going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. To whom it may concern Brenden Campbell is with his little brother whom is having heart surgey tomorrow at Riley so know the facts before posting!
  25. I also know that D1 recruiters look at alot of different things in a persons make up. First and foremost I don't know if a school will even look at you witout grades! We talked to many recruiters and their first question to us was, "What is your GPA and class rank, then there is a couple of tests scores called ACT and SAT. Then they wanted to talk about plans after wrestling.
