  1. What happened to State #13 138 Silas Foster of Purdue Poly? He was seeded #1 at Warren but forfeited.
  2. Roncalli just pulled off the biggest choke job in program history!
  3. Both great kids on and off of the mat. Connersville had two sets of brothers win championships this year; Tylin (126) and Breven (145) Thrine plus Silas (138) and Orlan (195) Foster.
  4. Teams are listed on Connersville's schedule.
  5. EXHIBITION 195 - Luke Hansen (Roncalli #4 182) over Gunner Henry (Brownsburg #2 195) 6-3.
  6. Due to the expected large crowd, the visitation has been moved to South Dearborn High School gymnasium located at 5770 Highland Place, Aurora, IN 47001 from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, April 3.
  7. IHSWCA Hall of Fame inductee Coach George "Giggy" Gardner passed away on March 24 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Giggy was a talented wrestler at Lawrenceburg and after a stint in the United States Navy graduated from Northern Kentucky University. He was a long-time teacher and coach at South Dearborn. Giggy has a 359-150-1 record as a head wrestling coach at South Dearborn and was inducted into the IHSWCA Hall of Fame in 2022. Visitation services for Giggy will be on Sunday, April 3 between 5:00-8:00 PM at South Dearborn High School gymnasium in Aurora, Indiana.
  8. Two Friday sessions sucks! Really takes away the electricity of the State Finals. Reminds me of State Finals in multi-class states that I have coached at including Ohio and Georgia.
  9. As a supporter of Catholic schools, can you imagine how tough Andrean could be if those Indiana boys would have chosen to wrestle at a Catholic school in their own state!
  10. I believe that Stuck will lose to Bragg. If it is McGinley or Edwards, then Stuck should win. You never know which Stuck will show up.
  11. I hope that it is that close. I pretty much agree with your predictions but I see the Irish piling up lots of bonus points and I also predict an Irish victory at 160.
  12. Correct, Hansen is the Roncalli RB and Hannon was the Chatard RB. Both tough as nails and both are longtime friends and competitors.
  13. Circle City Conference 152 - #5 Kody Glithero (Roncalli) over #20 Eli Bustamante (Bishop Chatard) TF 18-3 182 - Marion County Champ #10 Luke Hansen (Roncalli) over Indianapolis City Champion very tough but unranked Tommy Hannon (Bishop Chatard) 9-4
