As we are all preparing for the 2011-2012 wrestling season, please educate yourselves on what to watch for in regards to staph and other communicable diseases. Catching these early by knowing what to watch for and through thorough routine inspections may help save your season. A routine prevention policy is ideal in order to keep your mats and facilities clean.
There is also a new company that can help prevent the spread of these diseases.
This company can come in and spray your wrestling rooms, mats and locker rooms to place a layer of protection that lasts for up to one year. This is not a disinfectant, but an antimicrobial that kills bacteria, viruses, staph, MRSA, ringworm and other communicable diseases.
They also have a solution where you wash your clothes in and lasts for up to 30 washes. This solution is also available in a spray and wipes so wrestlers can even spray their shoes and wipe their headgear. This solution gives you 30 days of protection.
Please email sales@bioarmorpro.com for information or IM me. I have already heard of one wrestler getting ringworm recently at a local high school.
