  1. Lol dang it...you know what I meant! I fixed it.
  2. We are selling our heavyweight mats. We have three full mats with three sections. Competition markings on one side and practice circles on the other. They are in fairly good shape. $750 a section or $2000 for a full mat. You'd have to come pick them up on the Eastside of Indianapolis. Contact me at 317-372-2992 or joneill@warren.k12.in if you are interested. Jake O'Neill

Coach Journey was a three time place winner for Perry Meridian HS, a DI National Qualifier for Chicago State, and a Police & Fire Games World Champion. You must have a USA Wrestling Card to attend. Enter through door 14 on the North Side of the Fieldhouse.
  10. Here's the link to registration. 2 people per participant allowed, this number includes coaches and siblings. Obviously, they are being strict with numbers and the mask mandate. Let me know if you have any questions. https://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/opentournaments/VerifyPassword.jsp?tournamentId=617632132
  11. Middle School weights are different across the state, the middle school seasons are different across the state too. The IHWCA has actually developed a committee to help pull middle school wrestling together as a state to help improve it as a whole. The IHSWCA Middle School State Tournament could be a good model for this. We felt that the weight classes for Heartland Duals didn't reflect what would be ideal, we felt that there weren't enough weight classes. So we went from 17 to 22 weight classes. Then we wanted to model the age group with the IHSAA age group, so you can't be 16 before the tournament (just like you can't be 20 before the IHSAA tournament), and we added 5th graders (as many middle schools across the state include 5th graders). We may end up taking the Heartland Duals qualifying portion away from the tournament, we may just use it as criteria. This was a miscommunication between the IHSWCA and the ISWA, I'll take the blame for this and I apologize the confusion it may cause. All the decision we make are to create opportunities for our wrestlers and to improve Indiana wrestling. Here's the link to the MS State Tournament, I'd be happy to answer any questions. https://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/opentournaments/VerifyPassword.jsp?tournamentId=617632132

  13. Coaches, I'm excited to get everyone back together again! En lieu of schools not quite being ready to open up to us, we've moved our clinic to the Marriott Indianapolis East. We're planning on a way to have the social here as well. I love the idea of having everything in the same spot. Danny Struck, as always, did a fantastic job at putting together a line up of solid clinicians. We are also wanting to work in breakout sessions again to pull together resources and ideas to improve some important areas of our sport. Be part of the change! Since we are having the clinic in a conference center this year, we've had to shell out a couple more bucks for it. It benefits the IHSWCA if you book a room at the Marriott. If you would, take that into consideration when booking a place to stay. Flyer, clinic registration, and hotel reservation links are all below. Don't hesitate to reach out to me with questions, comments, or concerns.
