  1. Not sure who this guy is or what the beef is, but I was bored and went through all the team states for 2a. I ranked the 2a champs by fewest average points allowed at team state …since some teams used to wrestle 4 instead of 3. 1. Yorktown (13-14) 12 points allowed per dual 2. Garrett (20-21) 14.33 points allowed per dual 3. Yorktown (14-15) 14.75 points allowed per dual somebody could go most points scored per dual, but this is what I did. It’ll be tough for a team to break into that top 3 in 2a in my opinion
  2. You may be correct…I’ve reached out to a few coaches because I am curious
  3. Interesting thing about our numbers---we had a few kids decide not to come out, but we still have 15 freshman that came out, which could be a great thing moving forward..(class was 22 if you count all that wrestled in 8th grade, but I knew some wouldn't continue wrestling in HS)
  4. What are your numbers after 5 days? We're at 39. Of course, a couple are injured and not currently able to be on the mat, but that's where we stand roster wise now. It's not the best numbers we've ever had, but it's solid of course. Recently at our conference meeting we were able to hear some of our conference teams' numbers... They ranged anywhere from 8-39, with a few teams being in the 30s.

  6. RSVP Garrett Wrestling ---Ill be there, but im not sure what goons I'm bringing with
  7. While I get where you're coming from and don't agree with everything you're saying..I can DEFINITELY agree that it's okay to have the SAME number of representatives at each class. It wouldn't hurt anything.
  8. I get what you’re saying now in regards to MD… im ok if a school “wrestles” up, but I feel if they choose to wrestle up they should stay up for a “contracted number of years” …which I believe MD stays up every year anyway.
  9. Also—-you’re basically saying my job as a coach for the “four months “ I have them doesn’t really matter
  10. Leave us alone ? What weight class do you wrestle and for which one of those schools? (Seeing you’ve been a member since 08’ I’d bet you aren’t wrestling..maybe you’re a coach ?)
  11. So, a school with 500 will have the same practice partners that a school with 1200 does ? …Assuming there’s no recruiting , you have a great coaching staff , and great facilities? You can wrestle a ton out of season and then get to season and have no partners , not the best coaching, and a poor facility for four months …four months is a long time for a 14-18 year old kid. And, let’s say a top notch coach took over a parochial school and kids were attracted to that …wouldn’t they have an advantage? I’m a small school dude and LOVE our single class system for individual state, but you’re whacked out of your mind with what you’re trying to come off as on here
  12. Yes! At the HS level why wouldn’t you ? You could have a disappointing day in one and bring back some hardware in the other …in Veazy’s case he will bring home double the hardware
  13. I was hoping somebody would write something like this! I’m following IM Twitter, but it’s nice to see it in one place ! Leave it to LaPorte County! Thanks !
  14. Cummings Brooks Leavell Micic Lee Tsirtsis LeCount Brayton Lee Conway Baumann Rypel Allred Carroll Chico
  15. GenHeavier handz is not The General. It’s an impostor!
  16. I agree with you for sure !!!…Wasn’t a lat drop. I thought I remembered correctly, but just rewatched. It was a double over throw, which makes it even crazier !
  17. We’ve also had a few qualifiers/successful wrestlers that only started wrestling in middle school , but they put in a ton of time to get to where they got
