All wrestlers are required to travel with the team and coaching staff. The only exception to travel is if a wrestler has another wrestling commitment, as was the case with Kayla Miracle this year, they would be allowed to meet the team in Fargo. All wrestlers must stay in the dorms with their teammates.
Yes! All wrestlers must qualify through their state, regionals or FILA nationals in order to participate as members of their state team. Independent participation is not allowed at Fargo.

Statement from USA Wrestling President Jim Ravannack
“USA Wrestling is pleased with the decision of the International Olympic Committee Executive Board to select wrestling as one of the three sports on the short list for consideration for a position in the 2020 Olympic Games program. This outcome was made possible by the hard work and dedication of the worldwide wrestling community. USA Wrestling has taken a leadership role in supporting FILA in its efforts to improve our sport and retain its Olympic status. I want to thank all Americans who have stepped up in the last few months for wrestling, especially those who are involved in USA Wrestling’s grassroots programs, working daily on behalf of our nation’s young people. There is much more work to be done, and we look forward to the challenges ahead. We believe in our leadership team and in the passion of the wrestling community as it pursues the goal of remaining an Olympic sport.”

USA Wrestling's age division & weight class chart lists Bantams as wrestlers born in 2005-2006 (the same as ISWA). To the best of my knowledge pee-wees can not participate in USAW regional or national events.
I just got confirmation that the step-out/ push-out rule will be applied as it was last year at Regional and National events. Indiana will do the same in an effort to prepare our wrestlers for these events.
The rule is: "One point is award for the wrestler who's opponent places one entire foot outside of the boundary line"
Thank you,
Mark Mundy ISWA officials director

Separation Criteria
ISWA Folkstyle State Champions, Freestyle State Champions and Greco State Champions, within the past 2 years, will be separated. Please Note: Wrestlers must indicate their championship, in the space provided, when they pre-register at trackwrestling.com (IHSWCA Middle School State Championship is not an ISWA State Final event)
Wrestlers must weigh-in during the scheduled times wearing a competition singlet. They will wrestle what they weigh at that time. If the weight differs from the one they chose when pre-registering, the weight class will be adjusted at weigh-ins. ISWA does not charge for adjusting weights after you register.
The ISWA office received a call yesterday asking if the time of the ISWA Calendar Meeting, to be held at Lawrence North High School, had changed. The answer is NO! The ISWA Calendar Meeting begins at 9:00 am this Sunday, September 9. The Annual Meeting is at 10:30 am.
The Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association will meet at 3 pm. Please don't confuse the two.

USA Wrestling never keeps all the money from card sales. USA Wrestling keeps 23.25 of the cost and a check for the remaining amount is sent to the state each month.
At all ISWA state events, coaches who have a USA Coach's membership are also admitted free of charge. ISWA money is not set aside for a rainy day, if that is what you meant to imply. As I have stated in the past, a minimum of $36,000 is put in a fund each year to offset the cost of Team Indiana trips. My post was made to point out that each state is somewhat different, not to debate the pros and cons of Indiana vs Wisconsin.
