  1. And Mat 3 looks to be a go.
  2. Mat 1 is back up as a single view.
  3. Looks like all they got wired up at the moment is a split screen and Mat 1. Going to assume the rest are in the works.
  4. Stream links are starting to work again if you refresh the IHSAA main page and go from there.
  5. Works now if you refresh the IHSAA TV main page and go from there.
  6. Oh take your time IHSAA. Nothing important occuring like say kids earning state medals for their entire season of hard work. How did they get the first two rounds of streaming off well, but mucked this one up when nothing really have changed with the process?
  7. Clearly the IHSAA just want us to feel the same experience that the TicketGate people did.
  8. They are almost to 126. Still no live stream.
  9. They had it running smooth over two different sessions. Why they gotta go and screw something up now?
  10. They found that darn Shaved Ice truck and now there is no one in the arena to run the event.
  11. I agree, especially at the state tournament level that 2-2-2 for consolations should be implemented. One added minute is a lot to work with work for many of these razor thin matches. At one point the rule book used to give the choice of using 2-2-2 or 1-2-2 for consols. But almost all of the time the event organizers went with 1-2-2, likely because it slightly sped things up. I’m assuming that this trend caused them to adjust the rule book awhile back because last I read it now say all consolations are to be 1-2-2.
  12. And now we go live to the Ford Center.
  13. I hear Russia figured out the correct way to play
  14. I’d agree. From what I’ve listen to most announcers have came in well organized with information to help add to what we see on the mat. I’ve always liked having some additional knowledge added in rather than a second by second of play by play that already see from the watching the steam. And far less speaker blowing yelling wildly when a big move happens than we have had in prior events. Very much appreciate that these guys are figuring out how to express the matches excitement in a more ear pleasing and professional broadcasting manner.
  15. Some may still be trying to sort out where their tickets are. Joking. Well really half joking.
  16. They have had several matches in the first two rounds that were won by a solid margin. And most kids are going to tighten up some on the action against top level opponents in the semis with a state final bid on the line. So while their maybe some strategic decisions on when to open things up I’m not sure I’d say “they do nothing and win close matches”. And someone on their staff completely forgot to let Krejsa in on this team plan. That’s kids been on a mission almost the entire time on the mat.
  17. Thats choice of words is hilariously fitting coming from a prior Avoner considering the story of one of their former coaches.
  18. Figured I’d get it out early so people could start talking things up as they return from the late lunch break. And @JayinSTL I apologize up front this time for any disappointment you may have after waking up from your late afternoon nap and not seeing this thread full of ridiculous takes while you sipping on your Ensure Plus Supplement drink.
  19. I think they have asked the school if he can “transfer” to Brownsburg. For academic and family reasons of course.
  20. 1. College takedown are call quicker. As soon as they touch the mat at all. Establishing control doesn't have to be and obvious as HS and there is no reaction time considered unlike we usually see in HS. 2. Yes the HS refs tend to let the wrestlers work on positions longer before calling a stalemate or a stalling. And a little more backwards movement if defending a takedown before a fleeing is called. College refs will call a reset as soon as the action stops for more than a brief second. Call a stalling as soon as the top wrestler is just holding on or bottom is not moving for more than a second. Plus call a fleeing as soon as you make more than one small movement backward close to out of bounds.
  21. Sorry but that’s what you get for getting your hopes up. The day is still young in the central time-zone. Soon the masses will throw the shades back from their eyes and start chattering.
