  1. Daleville Junior Senior High School has an opening for Head Varsity Wrestling Coach. There are teaching openings in History and English. The teaching positions are posted on the DOE website. If you have any questions email Eric Douglas at edouglas@daleville.k12.in.us
  2. 125 Eppert 133 Cashe' 141 Nelsen 149 Churchard 157 Robinson/Welch 165 Smith 174 Kissle 184 Atwood 197 Kissle HW Vuko
  3. I think this problem is only a problem for the smaller schools. Our 103 pounder has received maybe 1 forfiet if any. We have had other weights with more including 189 and 215. I can't see why coaches would want to have another weight class for the bigger guys. To me these matches are boring while 103 is usually very exciting and the actual level of good wrestling is far above 189 and 215 on average. We need to be more fan friendly and the upper weight classes just are not as exciting as the little guys. If the smaller schools don't want to recieve forfeits they should change their schedule to include larger schools. Coach Douglas
  4. Josh Hutchins from Plymouth 1993 didn't give up a single point at the state tournament. The next year he beat James Torres in the semis and Greg Larson in the finals, both won state the next year, Larson over Tim Meyers of Bellmont.
  5. The best right now is Logan Steiber from Ohio, he is only a junior this year but had a win just last summer over Tyler Clark who recently beat Angle at National Duals. At Fargo he won Greco 119 and moved up to 125 and won freestyle convincingly. Ramos is tough but doesn't have near the offense as Steiber. Ramos was also recently beat by Vincent Rameriez who is a freshman from OH. I think Steiber would beat Taylor if they were with in 1 weight class.
  6. What about taking something from college wrestling. The Hodge Trophy. We could take one of our past greats and name it after him. The Ellis Trophy. You could use similar guidelines used in college, given to a champ who had the most dominant season, pins, techs, majors or won the toughest weight class. You could also name it after your website The Indianamat trophy. I think this is something else that will help promote our sport. Coach Douglas
