  1. Agreed!!! not really a close second in my opinion. He probably beat over 30 state qualifiers and 15 state place winners while in high school. His senior year he only had 3 matches go all 3 periods, he also only gave up 1 takedown that entire season.
  2. For our family..... Oldest was a SQ in wrestling but really good at baseball also top 10 in his class academically Middle was a State Champ in wrestling, good at baseball and still pretty smart Youngest (this is me) Not very athletic was never a SQ in wrestling but was an Freestyle AA. (I like to think i was the best at wrestling but probably still couldn't beat either of my brothers now.. they have man strength) I was ok at baseball, and got the worst grades out of the three.. haha I got the short end of the stick I guess. I am with bdolly, I used my lack of athleticism to my advantage, everyone underestimates you if you dont look athletic
  3. 130: #3 Ethan Raley Indian Creek vs #9 Luke Schofield Franklin 140 will be a stacked weight class
  4. Participating schools: Center Grove, Greenwood, Franklin, Indian Creek, and Whiteland..... Any thoughts?
  5. Participating Schools: Beech Grove, Bloomington North, Brownsburg, Castle, Charleston, Evansville Central, Homestead, Jennings County, Madison, Monrovia, Mooresville, Northview, Plainfield, Seymour, Whiteland, Yorktown
  6. I think you are leaving off the two best wrestlers with the most credintials from your list.. Ethan Raley Indian Creek and Dusty Kief franklin... heres my opinion 1. Ethan Raley 2. Dusty Kief 3. Aaron Stevenson 4. Kolb 5. Belmear
  7. 119: Williams or Fisher... I would take Fisher due to the fact he won the match by major dec. last year 11-2. oh yeah and the fact Fisher is a returning semi state champion
  8. MAIN CARD * 265: Fedor Emelianenko (232) vs. Brett Rogers (264) * 185: Jason ?Mayhem? Miller (184) vs. Jake Shields (184.5) * 205: Gegard Mousasi (205) vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (204) * 265: Antonio Silva (263) vs. Fabricio Werdum (242) PRELIMINARY CARD * 145: Marloes Coenen () vs. Roxanne Modafferi () * 135: Jeff Curran () vs. Dustin Neace () * 170: Deray Davis () vs. Mark Miller () * 170: Shamar Bailey () vs. John Kolosci () * 185: Louis Taylor () vs. Nate Moore () * 155: Jonatas Novaes () vs. Christian Uflacker ()
  9. I believe that there are 3 former Indiana wrestlers fighting on the undercard..... Nate Moore (perry meridian) Shamar Bailey (Center Grove) and Dustin Neace (Whiteland/Brown County)

Yeah If anything they should have had a 3rd round. Shivers dominated the first round controlling every position mounting his opponent and getting a near submission. I think its crazy how out of shape all of these fighters are.. You would think if you knew you were going on the show you would want to get into shape but i guess not.
  11. Agree... Carwin has powerful punches but its hard to throw punches when your on your back, Gabriel Gonzaga easily took Carwin down and Gonzaga is no where near the wrestler that Lesnar is I see this fight ending like Brocks other fights takedown to ground and pound.
  12. I heard UINDY offered the job to Josh Hardman a coach from Dakota Wesleyan... He was Manchester's old coach. I am not for SURE that this has happened but it is what I have been told.
  13. Vince Young was Offensive Player of the Year with 12 TD passes and 13 INTS. I dont think that is very good. Pat white is nothing like either of those two players. He is 6 Foot 175 pounds, and will get injured very quickly in the NFL. If you follow WV at all you will notice that he is injury prone
  14. Carson Newman DII in TN dropped their program today. http://carsonnewmaneagles.cstv.com/sports/m-wrestl/spec-rel/040209aaa.html
