  1. If we're going that route The Ultimate Warrior is from Crawfordsville
  2. The problem isn't assign seating its how they sold the tickets. They just need to come up with a better system to allow groups to have seats together. To be honest and I could be wrong but it didn't seam like there was a big issue of groups getting to sit together but I was only one section. It also seemed like the assigned seating was just a guideline as it was easy to move to a section that had empty seats. If we went back to general admission I don't see the beef up security happening the way you envisioned. Yea some sections might be ran well but I don't see them being able to get enough quality workers to make it run smoothly. I personally like the idea or knowing you'll have the same seats no matter when you get in line. I've actually have gotten to enjoyed lunch the last couple of years not having to rush back to make sure I'm early enough just to get to the section I've been all weekend and see all the seats saved. I don't want to have to have hopes that the workers are there to enforce no seat saving. Like I said they just need to fix the ticket process.
  3. I'm hoping they for got to change the setting from semi-state and this will be fixed by time wrestling starts.
  4. The point is probably money related. Now people have to pay $45 before fees instead of $30 to attend all 3 sessions. They should probably have more all session tickets then 1 session.
  5. When does will call open tomorrow
  6. Nvm I can see all three without using the app. This whole process really creates unwanted anxiety.
  7. So I got all session tickets but only session is showing up in my cart is this normal
  8. Once again congratulations Max. He truly is one of the nicest kids and one of the hardest workers.
  9. in the past they seem to have to upper bracket on 2 mats and the lower brackets on two mats. For a time every one in the 1st quarter bracket was on mat1 2nd quarter mat 2 3rd mat 3 4th mat two. I know at New caste they did 1st and 2nd on mat 1and 2 and 3rd and 4th on mat 3 and 4. Of course the last couple matches normally become first come first serve.
  10. Congratulations to Max Amberger for qualifying for state at 285. This is Batesvilles first state qualifier since 1993.
  11. What about teams trying to get there first one or there first one in 10+ years. I know Batesville has 5 left with a regional champ and runner up and they haven't has a qualifier since 1993 with the late Mike Dailey.
  12. Looking at 2022 brackets and 2023 that's not the case for every weight class
  13. Quincy Richey Brown County 09-12
  14. I think last season they started doing them on Wednesday. Not sure on the reason.
  15. Matt Linkle will be the new head coach for Batesville.
  16. The question would be how many kids in basketball tryout and don't make the team before classed and after... have the numbers with basketball dropped because of the number of players a team chooses to roster.... just curious. How many kids tryout for wrestling and get cut?
  17. My guess is it would be more of a mental mind set than anything. Your elite wrestlers are so used to traveling and sleeping in hotel rooms it probably doesn't matter where they compete.
  18. As far has hosting State, yes. State should be located to lower the over all amount of travel as possible. By having it in Evansville you'll be asking a good chuck of the state to increase traveling to state by anywhere from 1 to 3 hours more than they already travel. The fact is State should be in Indy but if it can't the goal should be to keep it as close to Indy as possible. As stated theres a hand full of teams that compete in the Evansville Semi-State that are close to Mackey than the Ford Center.
  19. But it's not just an hour gain for them it's a 2-3 hour gain. In fact. Theres schools in Evansville Semi-state that are closer to Purdue than Evansville. The fact is majority of the state gets a "bad deal" going to Evansville over Purdue. This Changes when compared to Fort Wayne. Of the 3 Purdue is the the closest to being centrally located.
  20. But geography wise it makes more sense for most of the state to go to Purdue. From the Ford center it's only 1 hour farther to go to Mackey than Gainbridge. Where with Fort Wayne and East Chicago Area its 2 and a half to 3 hour gain to go to evansville. Moving to to Evansville only benefits. the school close to Evansville travel wise.
  21. Is there away to edit the top 25 records?
  22. Any procedures for coaches getting coaches band.
  23. just curious how many mats do they use?
