Congrats to my former Coach Scott Vlink! He honestly deserves this honor for all of his hard work and dedication to the Crown Point program. Being able to coach 3 state champs, 3 state placers, and a state championship team in the same year is amazing. Coach Vlink congrats, I'm proud of you! Andrew Szymborski VMI

Not taking anything away from this years CP team but i honestly think last years was better on paper.. this years had tsirtsis though. 103 Hawkins SQ 3rd Now 1st 112 Shurg SQ 119 Fennell SQ 125 Manes SSQ lost to a tough harper and brooks in the ticket round both years 130 Roach 2nd 4th this year 135 Flamme SSQ 140 Mohammad SSQ 145 Conway 2x SQ 3rd 152 Pogo 160 Myers 5th 171 Szymborski 5th 189 Shrewsbury 7th 2nd now 1st 215 Bakalik SQ this year 285 Childress SSQ I think this team just couldnt get it down when it counted. Where as, this years team matured and finally made the big step. IMO

Way to go Crown Point! Kyle Marshall you stepped up when it counted the most. When you lifted the Perry hwt with double unders my mouth dropped.. Coach Vlink; Coach Rodriguez; and Coach Iberra, you guys are amazing.. You pushed this team to their limits this year and I couldn't be any prouder. I'm excited for Crown Point finally getting over the hump and when they got over the hump they took it all! To all my senior pals.. You ended the season with the highest achievement possible. I could never be as proud as I am right now of you guys. You showed the young wrestlers on this team to have heart and to push until that final whistle blows. Jimmy, Marcus, Mark, Pogo, Kooi, and Marshall you guys charish this victory because it will never be taken away from you. Well, that''s all from me.. It's a great day to be a Bulldog in Indiana!
