It is like who they (the officials) know and who they don't, in my opinion...

Was watching the Vlahos/Willis match. Vlahos threw what I call a "neck crank," put Willis on his back and the next thing I know Willis gets a point, cannot continue, gets the win. Cameron, you're a good young man, a great wrestle and I can't believe you were done this way. I know that doesn't change the outcome, but you have bigger things ahead of you. Seen a lot of things being done on the mat that would get called on some that don't get called on others (riding hips, stalling on bottom, etc....), sad but true.

Have a "dark horse" in a weight class at your semi-state? Let's hear about them... 8)

Well, it looks as if another winter blast is in store for tuesday....do you think they will hold the whole thing monday with the forecast that is given for tuesday? These wrestlers have got to be stir crazy and antsy. Would they push to wednesday night? That would be a killer week of wrestling going into semi-state, wrestling 3 + matches then, boom, saturday comes quick. Just wondering, good luck to all and I feel for those boys from Winchester, Randolph Southern and Union City ...Bad deal!

The only thing I have to say is...Ask around the state, to the wrestlers themselves, about a couple more kids than the ones "swiftyfeet" mentioned. I bet they have a different outlook then he does. They know.

Yes, Brown beat Wasson early. Wasson was up 6-0 in the second, tried a move they had been working on and got caught. Score was 6-6 still in the third, Wasson got an escape (questionable call) then Brown was credited with another takedown as time expired. Final score, 8-7. Brown is a real good wrestler but, l don't believe Wasson will get caught again trying something new. Just my opinion, should be some great wrestling. Good luck to all.

I see NC having 7 Champs, 2 Runner-ups, 1 3rd (possibly 2) and a 4th place....Just my thoughts. All I know is, gonna be some people bringing it to Huntington ;D
