  1. Is there are PDF or a link to this document? Can't find one anywhere. Thanks for the help!! BOOM!!
  2. 2009 Champion NOBODY can take that AWAY from me!! BOOM!!!
  3. I have my youth and HS Kids use them and they work really well!!! Very easy to follow for a beginner and you can really amp it up for the HS guys!!! I even use them from time to time, to keep my footwork sharp!!! Totally work the purchase!!!! I have the youth Right & Left....and Adult Right & left. Really works on getting better with changing your stance up for the HS wrestlers and learning to wrestle Left handed.
  4. I have been coaching since 2003, I have been apart of 3 different Sectional Seeding meetings in that span, and I have NEVER seen what I saw last night at a seeding meeting!!!! I feel terrible for the wrestlers involved due to the interpretation of the "Head to Head'" criteria. If wrestler "A" has a Head to Head win over wrestler "B", but wrestler "B" has more wins against other sectional opponents, he still gets the seed over wrestler "A"....Even Though wrestler "A" has a 1. Head to head win 2.Higher winning percentage 3. Farther Advancement in Last years tournament series. This was the case in in the 3 mentioned situations above, but it was even worse when they tried to seed the #3,4,5,&6....I was at a loss for words. I still can't believe what I witnessed. I spoke up about this situation during the meeting, but nothing was changed. Most of you all know me, I was pretty fired up about it, because it is doing an injustice to all of the wrestlers who put a body work together throughout the entire regular season, only to see this happen. This could have a negative ripple effect through the entire Tournament series (Regional, Semi State, State) due to this. Either way all the kids have to wrestle it out, but at Sectional seeding meeting it is our job as coaches, to separate, and seed the best wrestlers....& that wasn't done. Coach Weimer
  5. I spoke with DeJavier Goodner's wrestling Coach today at the Fishers Folkstyle Tournament and he told me that DeJavier is okay and will be competing this weekend at Semi State. I also want to let everyone know he wasn't "thrown on his head" that was stated earlier in this thread. It was an very unfortunate situation for both kids involved, but I am very happy to hear that DeJavier is okay!!!! Our 152lbs wrestler never wanted that situation to happen and was very concerned for DeJavier and I am very proud of him on how he acted through the entire situation, knowing his HS wrestling career was over with. You never want to see situations like this happen, Good Luck at SemiState DeJavier. Sebastian, Great things are going to happen to you in LIFE, again I am soooo Proud of you and how you handled yourself throughout the rest of the day supporting your teammates!!! Coach Weimer
  6. In a dual meet, is a team allowed to have some individuals wear a 2-piece singlet while other individuals wear Traditional Singlets? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Coach Weimer
  7. My question is during a dual meet, can I have some wrestlers wear a traditional singlet and have others wear a 2-piece singlet? Thanks for the clarification! Coach Weimer
  8. Jared, I want to say Congratulations on a GREAT HEAD COACHING Career Avon, LN, & Zionsville!! You coached numerous State Placers, State Champs, HS All Americans, HS National Champions, NCAA Div. 1,2,&3 wrestlers, Nationals Qualifiers and All Americans. You were the only Head Coach during the IHSAA Dual Team State era to take 2 different Schools to the IHSAA State Championship match (Avon, LN) both finishing 2nd....Never could win the big one (Ha Ha)!! There are many more accomplishments you have achieved in your career, but those are the ones that counted the most & that I remember! I wouldn't be the Wrestling Coach, Husband, Friend, or Father I am today without having you as a friend & mentor! The true greats in any sport are the ones who give back, and leave it better than when they got it. You have done a tremendous job promoting our sport, growing it at every level, at every school you were a HC. I have truly enjoyed every second coaching with you at LN (memories I will never forget) and the battles coaching against you (even though our wives hated those matches) HA HA!!!! You always bring the best out of not only the athletes you coach, but the opponents you coach against. I am going to miss not seeing you on Saturdays, it will not be the same!!!! Enjoy the 1-0 record against me, you will have it forever!!! I can't wait to see you in the Hall of Fame, with all the other great coaches who have given countless of hours away from their families, to do good for others in this sport. Enjoy the extra time with your little ones!!!! I know you will keep giving back, see you on the Pee Wee circuit!! Your Friend, Weimer
  9. Michael Weimer michael_weimer@nobl.k12.in.us Head Coach at Noblesville High School
  10. Cashe Quiroga BOOM!! Lee vs. Quiroga That would be a FUN Fantasy match to watch, both styles were identical to each others. Both were Heavy Handed, in your face, and had gas tanks that never emptied.
  11. Jared Williams & Eric Douglas...Douglas coached him in college at Purdue & then joined forces back at LN with Williams being the HC, absolutely loved being a part of that staff...they always had a trick or two up their sleeve to pull out during a dual to WIN!!! Great times!!
  12. The Principal at Daleville HS is Eric Douglas, a 2-time IHSAA State Runner-up in wrestling at Valpo, an All American at Purdue, and was a Assistant Wrestling Coach at Lawrence North 06-11. The Assistant Principal is Hank Carley, former Assistant Wrestling Coach at Warren Central 06-14. I know Hank set that up for the girls to sing and I was blown away by their performance!!! Daleville also had their 1st ever State Placer in any sport this year, Corbin Maddox 7th at 195. Great weekend for the Bronchos. Both are Great friends of mine and I made sure to let them know to tell those Girls what and awesome job they did this weekend!! Coach Weimer
  13. Don't know if this was posted earlier on a thread, was looking for the wrestlers, coaches, & contributors that made it in this year. Always a great accomplishment!! Coach Weimer
  14. Come on with the "Transfer for athletic reasons" chatter, just plain stupid! If Jimmy takes a new job and is going to relocate his family there, well Tristan is going to move along with his mom and little brothers. That is what families do. Congrats Tonte! Coach Weimer
  15. Cashe Quiroga will be competing in the Open at 57Kilos also...very excited for his senior level debut!!

  17. Atta boy Coach Sisson, 1st time in the programs history, congrats on that accomplishment, 14-14...BOOM!!!! #pride Coach Weimer
  18. Very excited to say that, Cashe has moved to Ohio State and will be OhioRTC's Resident Athlete at 125.5!!!! I am pumped for Cashe and his decision to keep competing for a chance to represent our country at the Highest Level this sport can offer. Throw him in that room with all of the stud lightweights that Ohio State has, WOW that will be a fun practice to attend!!! Coach Weimer
  19. I will tell you that I couldn't be more proud of Cashe for what he has endured and over came in his life. The journey that myself, Coach Douglas, and Coach Williams have been on with Cashe the past 9 years has been filled with every kind of emotion/adversity (good & bad) that any human being can endure. Cashe always has been able to handle it and find the positive, when most wouldn't. I have enjoyed every second watching Cashe grow from a troublesome kid into a respectful young man. Congrats to you Cashe...I always told you great things happen to great people...and you are truly GREAT!! Coach Weimer
  20. Central Regionals is a Vital tournament to attend if you are planning on competing on one of the ISWA Freestyle or Greco National Dual Teams or out at Fargo. Reasons listed below 1. Placing top three in your weight class, secures your spot on Team Indiana for Fargo. 2. It possibly opens up another spot for a wrestler to get on Team Indiana for Fargo. 3. Being a USA regional placer is one of the separation criteria for Fargo. 4. It also strengthens our National Dual team (if you are on that team) when it comes to the seeding/separating of teams at National Duals. 5. The Midwest is the hotbed of wrestling & you will have elite caliber wrestlers from states like (OH,ILL,IOWA, Mich) to compete against & some you will see again out at Fargo. I urge any Indiana wrestler to sign up for this tournament, it was nails last year, studs from all over the midwest & country were there. Looking forward to a great weekend of wrestling. Coach Weimer
  21. Safe travels to everyone from the board making the 13 hr trek out to OKC. Good luck to all of the former Indiana High school wrestlers competing. We have had a great showing for our state at the NJCAA, NAIA, NCAA Div 2 & 3, now it is time to keep that momentum rolling at finish off with a great showing that the BIG SHOW!! Very excited to get in the car and start driving!!! Coach Weimer
  22. Jim Gibbons preview at 133!!! Pumped for NCAA, one last go at it for Cashe. http://news.theopenmat.com/2014/03/laces-up-jim-gibbons-previews-133/ Coach Weimer
