You can’t disrespect and then say no disrespect.  Once again our kids are working hard and getting results.  We are proud of our student athletes in our Semi-State and the Carroll Regional which produced two state champions. Enjoy the excellent wrestling in your area.  You don’t have take a dump on us to do so.

My son wrestled him in the finals of the north qualifier at Hobart a few years back. I’m pulling for him and noticed back then as a sophmore he was extremely solid

Just seen almost 1000 wrestlers for Indy nationals. What a disgrace. That’s a 2 day tourney crammmed into one day. No respect for the working man getting up on Monday morning at 1:30 am for work. We will get one match in for 50$. Cmon man!

I took my son up there. Those wrestlers up north are extremely talented. He had a kid from Crown Point in the finals and I was extremely impressed with how even the varsity coaches were out there coaching those kids. Top Notch.

While I do technically have an agreement with the IHSAA (as I run the finals for them), you can’t blame me or TW. The IHSAA has written scathing emails to TW due to events opening up without their permission.  So unfortunately, I too, have no ability.

I know that many of us enjoy/love our sport of wrestling without government politics in it. So my apologies. The Government shut down but they seem to pick what departments remain open.... I guess to get to my point, has there been any type of “Shutdown” in the Bracket/ Seeding Dept?? Some sectional brackets have been chosen to be viewed...

Sorry to hear that brother.  Something our Head Coach said that has really helped him is the “Dashboard” on his IHSAA account.  It will give you the weight your wrestlers can legally be at week to week.  This may be something you can look into for yourself (with Head Coach if applicable) moving forward.  Genuinely hope your son still finds success at 145 man.

I think the forum was about who the undefeated wrestlers are at this point in the season, not whether or not they should or shouldn’t be seeded wherever. Hard to say a kid who is undefeated shouldn’t be the number one seed. Thankfully seeds don’t mean squat, and that’s why we wrestle. Good luck to anyone who gets to compete tomorrow. Be safe.

I just want to brag on my guy a bit. Aaron Black from Greensburg placed 8th at 182 as a first year wrestler. I couldn't be more proud of the work he puts in every day. Way to go Aaron!!

Most of the results not entering results here are not in Track either.  Rankings are just another tool for fans, wrestlers and recruiters.  
One thing people need to remember is that rankings are an imperfect yet pretty accurate snapshot with opinion built in of the current state of a weight class.  They are a moment in time, not a prediction of the future as many people on the internet (not just speaking about wrestling rankings) and change as results change.  If rankings were 100% accurate of how things will end, why would we even have the events?  So people should learn not to allow their panties get in a wad every time there is an upset and crow at the guys doing the rankings.

182 Carson danville beat SSQ Jake Combs 13-2  (combs beat returning SQ kyler Funk 9-4 earliern in day)  in a very chippy match... carson 14-0 with over 80 takedowns on the season.
