  1. Clark-Pleasant MS is looking for a new MS Head Coach. CPMS has had 60+ wrestlers each of the last 2 season, and has an excellent and dedicated assistant coaching staff that attend club tournaments year round. CPMS has won 53 consecutive dual meets, and over the last 2 seasons CPMS has wins over some of the top MS teams in the state (CG 4x, Franklin 2x, Indian Creek 2x, New Pal 2x, Perry Meridian 2x, Noblesville West 2x). We also have a very strong girls program with 15+ MS girls. The athletic director is a wrestling guy and is a big supporter of our program! CPMS has a dedicated wrestling room, attached to the best MS weight room around. CPMS 2023 Undefeated 26-0 Johnson County Champions Mid-State Conference Champions 2024 Undefeated 23-0 2nd place finish at IHSWCA MS State behind Contenders Wrestling Academy Johnson County Champions Mid State Conference Champions If you are interested, shoot me a text or email. 10. We are possibly looking to expand this tournament and add a few more teams. Current teams Clark-Pleasant Columbus Northside Jennings County Lynhurst If you have any interest contact Coach Cooper jcooper@cpcsc.k12.in.us or 3177559500
  11. Pretty sure Breedlove is a freshman Essentially the entire list above is 106 and under. Here are a some middle-weight guys who are really good. Maybe top 25 maybe not. Kids like Ashton Goney, Aiden Flowers, Jared Guevara, Noah Fitzgerald
  12. Whiteland is looking to host 2 All girls week night tournaments this MS season. Thursday night Jan 18 Friday night March 1st If you have any interest shoot me an email and I can get you on the list of teams. Justin Cooper jcooper@cpcsc.k12.in.us
  13. After a quick run through of the brackets it looks like Mooresville Regional advanced 43 of 56 wrestlers to ticket round. Only 5 of the Semi State qualifiers from the mooresville regional were eliminated by "non state qualifiers"
  14. 25 kids from our MS squad wrestled at CN, well ran tournament and tough competition. Now looking at state on track, not sure why the wrestler list wouldn't be released... common knowledge who is attending 8 kids from each qualifier (their weights cant be changed) and the tulsa kids. Just make coaches jobs harder keeping track of their own teams, and what kids have and have not registered and what parents you need to remind to register. Also looking back I wish we would've known that 5/6/7/8th place didn't matter at the qualifiers.
  15. little brother bias here but.. Chris Cooper 160 Whiteland Set the state record for fastest tech fall @ the state finals (at the time) friday night, broke that record saturday morning, then finished the day off with beating alex dolly and double fargo champ Dan Bedoy in the finals. Not bad for an underdog.
  16. 04-05 whiteland squad did lose in the regular season by 1 to the runner up Avon team. Had a kid not make weight at team regional and whiteland had to shuffle their line up and Avon widened the gap at team regional. That 04-05 Avon team was GREAT top to bottom. The whiteland team that year was solid and had 4 Fargo all Americans in the line up. B south had some great teams in the early 2000s also with several state champs.

  19. Mooresville Regional 24 qualifiers 17 place winners 11 wrestlers in the top 4 6 in the finals 106 1,6 113 2,8 120 SQ 126 2,6,SQ 132 3,5,SQ,SQ 138 4 145 1,8,SQ 152 5 160 3 170 182 1,3 195 220 SQ Hwt 3,4,SQ brownsburg, CG, Avon, whiteland, Franklin all had wrestler(s) in the top 4.
  20. Mooresville regional won 62% of their opening round matches. 53% of finalist at Evansville were from the Mooresville regional. Only 7 out of the 32 Mooresville regional wrestlers eliminated at semi state were eliminated by a non state qualifier.
  21. 24 from Mooresville, without Logan Miller, Reese Courtney, and Nolan Skaggs… 3 that have all qualified previously. Seems like they have no interest in evening things out around the state.
  22. We (whiteland) considered this event this year, we probably would've finished middle of the pack. We went down to the wire with Perry last week in a dual. One of the reasons we opted not to compete was most of central indiana wrestles 22 weight classes for middle school and this event only had 17 weights. As a team with a majority above average kids, it hurts us when you cut out 5 weights where other teams with hammers can spread their kids out. Every team that entered is 3a-4a for wrestling except one they should have no issue filling weights. If the goal is to increase participation and find the best "team" cutting out 5 weight classes makes about zero sense.
  23. Sectional champ Grandinetti( Whiteland) out with injury today @138 Mooresville regional.
  24. Whiteland “unofficially” moved from 3a to 4a, right at 2000 students. No seniors on the roster, SHOULD have 7 semi-state qualifiers (out of “category 6” Mooresville sectional and regional) would likely have enough points to qualify for 3a team state but possibly not 4a.
  25. There was no match at sectionals. Eli was coming back from a minor injury and there was minimal difference in draw between 1st/2nd place going into regionals. One side of the bracket has shoeff the other has ison. Really really tough top 4 in this regional at 132.
