Penn has a HWT named Cory Christman that is doing a lot of summer tournaments. Silver all American at Disney GOING 10-1 Runner up in Vegas GOING 7-1 runner up at IHPSO GOING 3-1

Anyone know how many HWTs were there last year. And does any High School HWTs plan on going this weekend

First of I would like to think you all for reading and letting everyone know your true colors. It looks to me that some people took this post off in the there direction and it is fine. But those that can set and watch a 145 match end 2 to1 and say at was the greatest match I have seen in a lone time are the same people at are Disrespecting HWT's my saying things like how boring there matches are. I have been in this sport for over 30 years and worked with many of the best wrestlers in northern part of the state. Most all of them love cheering on the big guys. Just would like for some small thing to change no big reformatting of the meets, just give the HWT's the same respect as everyone else. Let them catch their breath after a match, give them some time to shower, and hold up the bus for just a few more minutes. Oh ya if think wrestling HWT's is easy I would love to see you 6 minutes with one, bit you would find some respect then.

Just would like to let all the wrestling fans know how it feels to be a HWT in high school. They work just as hard as all the others. But in the final match of the day most fans get up and walk out on them. You have been there for the last 6 hours, I get that, but what is another 6 more minutes. This happens at most tournaments, try filming your son with people walking out of the gym right in front of you. Then lets look at this fact. HWT finishes his match then he is being called to the awards stand, then being told to get on the bus. Now he is on the bus with no shower hot and sweaty in the cold air waiting to get sick. Skin funk is a big deal in this sport that is why for 12 years he has been trained to shower after coming for the mat. I know this silly little post will not change anything but if it helps one HWT or one fan to see the truth then it was worth the time to wright it. Just asking for the same respect that is giving to all the other kids in this sport.
