  1. On another note, are you guys inviting New Prairie to the Al Smith next year?
  2. Yeah…last year he lost to the 1st 2nd and 3rd place finisher and this year he lost to the 2nd and 3rd place finisher.
  3. Super easy process this morning. Multiple booths open for will call and took less than a minute to get tickets.
  4. Anyone know when tickets can start being picked up at Will Call?
  5. Goss and DeMarco getting nose to nose at the Al Smith this year!
  6. Has anyone asked how many tickets can be purchased at a time? I think last year it was 8.
  7. Total BS! Coach Sessa told Hayden, “Don’t be a c***sucker”
  8. Always look forward to this write up and it is well-written as usual!
  9. Huyvaert has 384 takedowns this year going into this weekend.
  10. Not sure if true or not, but I heard DeMarco’s Dad isn’t allowed at semi-state or state after Coach Sessa said something to Hayden after his match and DeMarco’s Dad went down and had a conversation with Coach Sessa. If that is true, it’s totally wrong since Coach Sessa instigated it.
  11. I'm wondering what the policy is on being able to leave and comeback? Gainbridge hasn't been very accommodating with this since we went to the split session.
  12. Correct...Harper got reversed with 23 seconds left which put Halfacre up 8-7 and then Harper asked for injury time for the 2nd time in the match.
  13. He has 349 currently and is 36-0 with two of those wins being forfeits, so it’s over 10 a match.
  14. New Prairie’s 144 pounder, Jeffrey Huyvaert. The previous record was 336 set by Yorktown’s Ben Milius in 2003.
  15. ECSS 113# #7/NR Caleb Halfacre with the injury default win over ECSS #2/#6 Brady Harper. Harper was up 7-6 and then got reversed by Halfacre (8-7) with 23 seconds left and Harper asked for injury time and then injury defaulted. Not sure if Harper was injured or not since he had asked for injury time earlier in the match.

  17. Best one I have heard this year from a coach, “VIOLENCE!”
  18. I’m almost positive Brownsburg would accept, but it’s highly doubtful they would ever get invited.
  19. The least amount of points Huyvaert has had in a match this year is when he beat Dillon Graham 17-6. Kid is an absolute scorer!
  20. New Prairie went to the Willie Holiday Duals which was Thursday and Friday. Mishawaka should also invite Avon and Brownsburg.
  21. Hard worker and trained at Midwest RTC with Chris Fleeger for a few years. Those Fleeger trained boys are on a whole different level!
