  1. Yes, we did have an end of the season celebration/dinner. That happens win or lose. That is how we celebrate with our family/friends and honor our wrestlers at state. We have been doing that for the last four years. I am proud of our parents and Booster Club for doing an amazing job for my coaches and wrestlers. Coach Lorek
  2. This was an incredible weekend of wrestling, and the Brownsburg Bulldogs and coaching staff earned it. Congrats Coach Snyder and team. Love competing and coaching against you guys, and the purple dogs deserve all the praise and celebration. Brownsburg and Center Grove showed up and competed hard. Congrats to both of those great teams and coaching staffs. Coach Lorek Crown Point High School Wr.
  3. All of these schools put on great events! Thank you Coach Sandefer and Mishawaka athletic department for hosting the Al Smith. Crown Point has been to the Spartan Classic, and Coach Schaefer has always offered an invite to Mater Dei. I love the variety our state has, and that there’s a holiday tournament for every team all over the state. It’s not about which is the best, but what’s the right place for your team. Tournaments are a lot of work, and holiday tournaments are even harder. Thank you to all those coaches and admins who host and organize holiday tournaments. Coach Lorek
  4. The 2009 Crown Point team was pretty good too. (21-1) Seven State SQs, Three champions, plus three more medalist. IHSAA Dual State champions.
  5. Yes, Carnahan will be streamed.
  6. Please include Crown Point! We will have a team there. Coach Lorek
  7. Where can we get details for this? Coach Lorek
  8. April 16th Crown Point Greco & Freestyle Tournament! (One Day!!!!) Tournament info on TrackWrestling
  9. There’s a criteria to get in, and the process to nominate someone is pretty well explained on the website.
  10. Why? East Chicago does a great job holding the Semi-State.
  11. Just want to congratulate everyone on their awards, and thank Joe, Mike, and everyone else on team IndianaMat for the amazing coverage you provide for our sport. Thank You Coach Lorek
  12. We will start with a few JV matches at 6:30pm. Varsity matches will start @ 7pm sharp.
  13. Coach, good luck chasing that wildcard spot. Give your team the best opportunity, and let them work. I think it’s awesome you’re taking risk and upping your schedule.

  15. Both were good explinations. Thanks guys!!!
  16. Purdue or IU must be able to host this event. They hosted the Big10’s. I’m sure IHSAA will find the best location for the wrestlers.
  17. Why do we not take same amount of schools in each class?
  18. Jason Tsirtsis (National Champion) Northwestern
  19. They could move it, but the issue is it is supposed to be random. Making 138 last isn't random. I think it's a great idea, and would love to see this happen every year. It would be fun to see 220 and 285 start things off for a change. Good Luck this weekend everyone, unless you're wrestling a Red Bulldog.
