Go to IHSGW.net and look at you regional site for this upcoming girls state tourney this upcoming season. We went from 4 regional sites to 16 regional sites. We have now added 4 Semi-State locations and our final state championships will be at the Wildcats of Kokomo High school at the Kokomo Memorial Gym. If you have any questions I can always be reached at garymyers86@gmail.com. Thank you and Good Luck this year. They also had a guy that never to my knowledge and to my oldest brother’s knowledge before his senior year and he got to the finals in 1975 at 167lbs Chuck Evans. Also on a side note Donald Prichard won the state his junior year but his senior year was dismissed from the team after a mid season tourney.

I can think of 2 champions and a runner up in 1975. 126lbs Mike Holmes and 177lbs Don Prichard. They also had Chuck Evans who placed 2nd in his first appearance as seniors for Muncie Southside and they won the team title that year. All 3 in their first appearance at state. 2 have passed and Mike Holmes is doing great.

Girls weights will be as follows for this upcoming season. 14 Weight Classes – 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 170, 190, 235. -
