  1. Maconaquah H.S. is looking for a new head coach. The returning team will be very competitive. The team placed 3rd in Regionals and will participate in 2A team duals this upcoming season. 2. *Deadline September 12th For Consideration* Please answer the following questions so IHSGW can prepare the state tournament. See link below: https://forms.gle/er2B9rZ6eFGkLqyD8 Good luck this season and thank you for making this sport great!!
  3. I think it's interesting that Maconaquah hasn't been offered an opportunity the last years with bid spot. Being the most consistent 2A team to fall short each year of automatic bid. Furthermore, beating teams that competed in state duals that season. It's hard to explain to wrestlers if 1 more wrestler would of....... we would of got the automatic bid. "But we missed the cut by .5 pt. again coach" Returning Line-up 1- State Placer, 4- Semi-state Qualifiers w/1 losing ticket round which 1 was an ISWA Folkstyle 3rd place, 4- regional qualifers which 1 was ISWA 2nd in Freesytle, and 2 incoming wrestler short of placing at middle school state in light weights.

  16. Maconaquah would like to host the North Regional. We can put 4 mats in a gym to speed up Friday night.
  17. Any word about if Hamilton Heights or another school going to host Girls State like last year? I have had about 5 girls ask about it.
  18. Thank you for those nice words! We had 22 teams and finals was done around 5:00. Plus, every team got 5-6 matches on the day. Champions were Tomahawk Club out of Ohio.
  19. Great man! Always willing to help others. Thoughts and prayers to his family. He will be missed. Bob Freije
  20. I hope IHSAA makes it a sport. I know girls are interested in competing for the school! (Girls vs. Girls) Would the season be the same time as boys? Similar to swimming format for tourney? I hope IHSAA gets on board soon because this could grow big!
  21. Sad to hear that. He was a fine man and cared about his family & friends. Thoughts and prays from both Bob's and Freije Family.
  22. Brings back memories of carrying those mats out for practice and in every night. LOL (Grey mats correct with purple lines?)
  23. Congrats!! Your website so great and user friendly. You deserve it!
