  3. It’s a catering company on south side of Indy. Gotta do the pulled pork
  4. Spectators, my bad. Obviously know the list of participants
  5. Hahah you pay the $100 and I’m in.
  6. Don't have exact numbers but LC and LN used to see each other a ton. I had the pleasure of getting beat by Reece Humphrey and Zack Aspling dozens of times. Super dual against LN Marion County LN LC rivalry dual Sectionals Regionals Semi state Perry Meridian as well lost to Walpole a bunch Perry Quin super dual County Conference Semistate State Senior year was 36-13--not 100% but think these were the losses Lost to Walpole at dual, conference, semi state and state Aspling dual, county, sectionals, regionals, semi state Goble BS dual, conference and beat him friday night Angel Escobedo at Hobart Invitational Wes Kief for 3/4
  7. So between Mooresville and Perry 9/14 champs 64% and 12/28 finalists 42% and 36/112 placers 32%
  8. Pretty sure MMA and boxing have a recovery time for like eye pokes and nut shots
  9. Perry Meridian Regional had 3 champs and good amount of placers
  10. In no particular order Coach Red CJ Red Tim Wright Brandon Wright Nick Hull Deondre Wilson Abs Bryant Chico Adams Donte Winfield Dave Pierson and kids DP and Jeivan Gil Journey Spence Spencer Darren Arberry Will Hill Vernon Cannon Mo Gunn and countless others
  11. I thought it was a relatively new thing as well until I talked to my neighbor who was a SQ as a junior for Whiteland and then used his grandmothers address to win a title at warren in 1980
  12. Off top of my head I can think of Hockaday Asa Garcia Joe Walker Danny Williams Trent Pruitt
  13. Wasn’t that long again that New castle was eating its own. #3 Brice Coleman WC beat #1 Cooper Noehre GFC at sectionals, lost at regionals and drew #2 Elliott Rodgers Cathedral in ticket round. I could have the rankings off but they were 1/2/3
  14. Been thinking about potential solutions to death draws that IHSAA might not immediately shut down. Because wrestle backs have been tried and tried and no dice. What if each head coach in semi state gets to vote for a wildcard from each weight. Fits with how college works with wildcard bids. Then the kid with most votes wrestles a 4 Friday night. Adds 1.5-2hrs to Friday with one additional round.
  15. It was top 2 from sectionals until 2002 and top 3 from regionals until 2009.
  16. New one I saw this year was a team flipped 6 wrestlers so no common opponents. I'd seen it done with just one pair but not half the team.
  17. Looking back at rosters over the years. This senior class frosh year. List not exclusive, could have missed guys. BBurg-Derringer Carroll-Todd SQ Cathedral-Bragg, McGinley SQ, Weingart, Hosia Smith CG--Larocca, Mcconnell 2nd, Nate Johnson CE--Mcmahon SQ PM-Huckaby SQ, Young, Mcclure WC-Wilburn SSQ, Russell 4th, Cashman 4th, Durham SQ Last year BBurg Gibbs, Ogle(wins over #7and 10 this year) CG Vander Luitgaren Penn Vargo PM Dale
  18. I would say your best depth is usually on display at the JV State duals. If you check those rosters a year or two back you’ll notice a lot of ranked guys now.
  19. I believe at 120 Garcia from Franklin had beaten CE twice and Fuller from Franklin at 165 has beaten CE twice as well.
