  1. So I'm assuming they will hold the boys basketball sectional brackets until the day before games start to ensure teams are only using players with full eligibility.
  2. Were coaches asked to not release the brackets of their sectionals to the public?
  3. Jimtown wont have enough depth to win it but could rack up points with three guys who have the potential to make the finals.
  4. Haven't followed college wrestling as much this year, but here are potential lineups: 125: Schroder (PU) 14-6 vs. Oliver (IU) 16-11 133: Thornton (PU) 13-3 vs. Konrath (IU) 17-8 141: Limmex (PU) 13-7 vs. Luigs (IU) 11-10 149: Filius (PU) 8-9 vs. Silva (IU) 2-4 157: Parriott (PU) 6-3 vs. Danishek (IU) 13-9 165: Wysocki (PU) 7-12 vs. Martin (IU) 14-6 174: Lydy (PU) 15-4 vs. Covaciu (IU) 10-4 184: Lyon (PU) 14-7 vs. Conley (IU) 13-10 197: Brunner (PU) 11-5 vs. Kliemola (IU) 9-9 285: Aven (PU) 8-11 vs. Miller (IU) 2-1
  5. My thoughts exactly. Keep up the good fight and stay true to the good!
  6. 1. Cathedral 2. EMD 3. WC 4. PM 5. BB 6. Roncalli 7. CE 8. Avon
  7. This is how you grow the sport. Huge duals like EMD vs PM. CP vs Portage. Cathedral vs CE and stream it for those who can’t make it. I love that it was on a Friday night! Think there should be more Friday night duals. Thanks for putting on a great show for wrestling fans.
  8. 10 matches in order to be seeded?
  9. EMD wins 7. PM wins 7 EMD 24 PM 22
  10. Forfeit data from Y2 after last year's sectional. Number of forfeits by weight class: 106 103 113 102 120 71 126 68 132 68 138 66 145 53 152 56 160 59 170 51 182 60 195 77 220 78 285 69
  11. Can you go into more details on this? What specifically sets them apart?
  12. So just to be clear, since I had someone ask me, it's too late to get licensed for this upcoming season. This person would need to start preparing for the 2019-2020 season?
  13. https://www.southbendtribune.com/mishawaka-high-school-to-join-northern-lakes-conference-in/article_ac103be6-17af-5097-b162-516eaf8d93c8.html
  14. Scrolling through results I remember seeing Boots from EMD top 5 in discus.
  15. Maybe should've went with the Matt Hughes vs. Frank Trigg slam
  16. I'm aware of how a team handles two guys in the same weight class. What I was asking is how will those scores be counted in qualification process the year prior to the merger.
  17. What year is the merger taking effect? How will the prior year be handled in terms of state qualification? Will the schools combine points. This year Central was 118 and Memorial was 78. Their total of 196 would've tied for 12th with Carmel and within striking distance of state. What if two studs are in the same weight class, will both scores be counted?
  18. Any idea on why three different dates/locations for Final X? Would be fun to be able to go to one site and see all of the big dogs at once.
  19. Can't seem to find that. I apologize. It was something I thought I read or heard.
  20. I tried to do some research. Who is missing? Or what has changed? McIntosh-Minnesota BLee-Minnesota JLee-Penn St Parris-Michigan Davison-Northwestern Mills-Duke Cressell-North Dakota St Poynter-Air Force Rooks-Indiana Streck-Indiana Triana-Purdue Melloh-Purdue Sellmer-Indiana Hunt-Army
  21. Was an actual final attendance ever posted?
  22. What Is Tact? Tact is the ability to tell the truth in a way that considers other people's feelings and reactions. It allows you to give difficult feedback, communicate sensitive information, and say the right thing to preserve a relationship. Tact encompasses many things, including emotional intelligence, respect, discretion, self-awareness, thoughtfulness, compassion, subtlety, honesty, diplomacy, and courtesy.
