  1. PANKO Strength & Speed is not a wrestling academy, but has helped a lot of wrestlers create their own success stories. Since 2011, 37 State Qualifiers have supplemented their strength and speed training and conditioning at PANKO Strength & Speed, that includes 19 State Placewinners, 12 Top 4 Placings, 3 Runners Up and 3 State Champions. 2. “Spend an evening with some of the best trained special operators in the world. Now you can be coached by the men that do their best work in the shadows. Learn their secrets to being mentally tough and go through one night of training evolutions that have made them some of the most feared men on the planet.” The most successful individuals have a fearless, risk-taking knack. Well aware of hardship, obstacles and sacrifice, they look far beyond the risk and they chase the success of the mission’s purpose. They have the ability to focus on the end, the victory, which sets them apart from all others. These individuals look past the difficulties of the mission; they psychologically drown out the pain and numb themselves to torment to revel in the success of the operation. The vast minority, they secure the intended objectives as opposed to failing in its pursuit while rationalizing the unsuccessful consequences. Operator X has excelled at some of the most stringent and demanding tests for special operators in the United States. They are a training cadre of the top one tenth of the top one percent. They have finished number one in classes with FAIL RATES AS HIGH AS 90 PERCENT, and Operator X is bringing the most challenging brand of excellence and distinction to PANKO Strength & Speed for one night. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for individuals ready to take the next step forward and commit to putting themselves at the top of the mountain in, what will be, the hardest night of their lives. The evening will be 100% instructed and run by Operator X. Under the leadership of Operator X, individuals will focus beyond the sacrifice and achieve the Intended Mission Objectives. What are the Intended Mission Objectives…? - Driving through failure to excellence. - Psychologically resetting an edge that can be LIMITLESS. - Discovering what an individual is really capable of overcoming. - Fearlessly attacking victory, with no regard to defeat. - Establishing the ultimate standard when others are unwilling to have high standards. Using training evolutions based on experiences as shadow operators, Operator X will condense the ultimate trials of physical and psychological strength into one evening, from 9pm until dawn. What will Operator X teach? Using victory and failure as motivators, Operator X will use training evolutions to teach: - Character and Real Leadership - Valor - Integrity - Servitude - Fortitude and Resolve - Initiative How do I know Operator X is right for my team/athlete? Individuals become the environment of which they are a part. If they are pushed by what lies at the top of the mountain they will reach the top of the mountain. If they hang around the cellar, they will never leave the cellar. Operator X is going to be relentlessly tough and those that take part will be resilient. It’s going to be the most challenging night most will ever endure, but it’s designed to teach participants how to push through pain, how to push through obstacles, even when they think otherwise and teach persistence. Operator X will command a culture of victory. It’s a life changing opportunity for anyone that wants to serve in the Armed Forces, get an operators contract, be a State Champion, a National Champion, earn a college scholarship or be a leader. It’s a great opportunity for teams to work together towards a common goal. The completion of the evening with Operator X will be incredibly fulfilling and the confidence gained will be invaluable. Between training, deployments and schools they attend on rotations it has taken years to put this together. A window of opportunity has opened, seize the opportunity. Operator X will be at PANKO Strength & Speed in Plainfield the evening of Saturday, August 2nd. Operator X will start at 9pm and will run until dawn. Participants need to expect everything and be ready for anything. The intensity of the evening will be unparalleled. The evening with Operator X will be $77 per athlete. Five or more athletes from the same team will be $57 per athlete. To gain the competitive edge in any walk of life has proven to be the key ingredient to success. The best will always find a way to rise to the top; this opportunity will teach such skills. This opportunity is not for individuals that are already good enough, tough enough or strong enough. That attitude will not work with Operator X. This opportunity is about being a sponge, coming prepared to learn through experience how to blast through challenges to reach and achieve every single goal. This opportunity is for any individual seeking a game changer in their life! They will learn more about themselves in one night than they’ve learned their whole life. $77 per athlete and $57 per athlete when five or more athletes are from the same team. PS – This is real, the Operators are REAL. E-Mail ap@pankostrengthandspeed.com to register and save your spot.
  3. This will be a chance for wrestlers to compete, but not on a wrestling mat and give them an opportunity to do some events they would not normally do or have never done. I believe the state of wrestling in Indiana is getting stronger each year and it is my passion to keep it growing. I want to serve high school wrestlers across Indiana and the best way I can do so is to give them a day to compete in my specialty…strength sports (not Crossift, nothing against, but it’s not Crossfit). We train a lot of wrestlers – elementary to high school and collegiate. Since 2011, 27 wrestlers that supplement their training with us have qualified for the State Finals. I don’t need to tell you that but I want you to understand that we specialize in training wrestlers. The purpose of America’s Strongest Wrestler is to stimulate wrestlers by not wrestling and helping them find weak spots that need to be addressed. Addressing weaknesses that they may not even be aware of will help next season be more prosperous. All of the details are at pankostrengthandspeed.com/americas-strongest-wrestler/ but to give you an idea of what to expect here are the events: Max Reps on Deadlift Max Reps Pull Ups with extra 20 lbs Farmers Walk Tire Flip and Sled Medley Keg Clean and Press Keg Carry All events will last 75 seconds and we are having 5 weight classes. Everything is on the website pankostrengthandspeed.com/americas-strongest-wrestler/ and it only costs $35 to compete. It is unsanctioned so there is no need for a USAW card, but they will have to fill out a medical waiver for me. Please feel free to respond with any questions. I want to make this a big event; I would like to make it annual. May 17th, by my best research, is an open weekend. It’s about halfway through the off-season so it’s great for kids to compete but not to have to cut. Plus we are far enough out from Fargo that kids will be able to recover sufficiently before they start anything pre-Fargo. Wrestlers have so much access to cutting edge clubs and coaches but sometimes they are not on the cutting edge of their sports performance, and that’s not to step on any toes, but it’s the truth. All details are at pankostrengthandspeed.com/americas-strongest-wrestler/ or you can email me at ap@pankostrengthandspeed.com
  4. http://pankostrengthandspeed.com/americas-strongest-wrestler/ May 17th, PANKO Strength & Speed is hosting America's Strongest Wrestler. There is no need for a sales letter with buzzwords. This event will be the ultimate opportunity for all middle school and high school wrestlers to push the envelope. Its competition. Its wrestling related. Its not on the mat, and the events speak for themselves. No cards needed. Nothing is sanctioned. Just show up and move the most weight, and in some cases, move it the fastest. Get out of your comfort zone! Are you strong (enough)? If you have questions, please email me ap@pankostrengthandspeed.com.
  5. With the high school season finished, the most important part of the wrestling year is yet to come – spring and summer wrestling. Spring and summer are the best opportunities for wrestlers to get exposure, compete against the best competition possible and showcase their skills at national tournaments and duals. The most dangerous wrestlers are masters of controlling their bodyweight, base of support and center of gravity (and that of their opponents). Certain wrestlers are a cut above everyone else, whether it’s getting to the point of attack, dominating the point of attack, finishing, getting out from the bottom, being a beast on top, AND NEVER RUNNING OUT OF GAS. Bottom line…the best wrestlers possess SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, and ATHLETICISM, the latter usually improperly prioritized because many wrestlers do not train sufficiently off the mat. They need to be strong, they need to be powerful, they need to be able to change directions, and they need to decrease their susceptibility to injury. Wrestlers are a select few athletes that must produce maximum force often over an extended period of time with very short pauses. The nature of the sport requires them to adapt and be dominant using multiple energy systems… ATP-PC ENERGY SYSTEM – Like Sprinters, Throwers, and Pitchers, they need maximum effort strength and unrelenting power. For a burst, they need to execute explosively and efficiently. GLYCOLYTIC ENERGY SYSTEM – More so than 800 M Sprinters, they need to be effective executing maximal bursts over the course of one period. OXIDATIVE ENERGY SYSTEM – In a matter of seconds, they need to be able to steady their heart rate, breathing rate, and lactic acid build up for multiple periods of executing maximal force in each movement. Revolutionary knowledge and skill sets of wrestling are no good if the knowledge can’t be implemented and the skill executed! The requirements of wrestlers make them first-class as some of the most complex athletes on the planet. What holds wrestlers back is not a lack of skill but a lack of strength, power, speed on the mat, and the ability to stay injury free. The chances are likely that they are not training properly to be the best wrestlers. PANKO Strength & Speed is the solution. The cutting edge innovation at PSS is guaranteed to make wrestlers alpha athletes. In the last four years, nearly 30 wrestlers that supplemented their performance training at PANKO Strength & Speed have wrestled at the IHSAA State Finals: 17 have placed, 11 placed in the Top 4, 3 have been State Runner Up and 3 have been State Champions. The physical aspect of the program is well known, but what makes the experience exceptional is the character development and leadership ethos instilled in each athlete…it’s the heart of the CARNIVORE Culture. The CARNIVORE Culture is responsible for developing more than wrestlers. In little time, over 40 athletes have earned college scholarships, multiple athletes have been named NCAA All-America and a handful of athletes PSS trained are now in United States’ service academies. Additionally, we have had the opportunity to coach men that, in the world’s most dangerous places, are referred to as Green Eyed Ghosts. Bottom line, there is no program that will empower, command excellence, and create and provide the highest standards for its athletes than PANKO Strength & Speed. 6. Weekends are opening up and I am starting Open Saturdays at PANKO Strength & Speed in Plainfield at 11am. It will be a whirlwind training session and for those that have never been with us, an experience. Many wrestlers have supplemented their strength/speed/performance training with us the past three years. In that time: 23 have qualified for State 16 have placed 11 have placed Top 4 3 have been State Runners Up 3 have been State Champions and a team we served were State Runners Up as well This Saturday is on me! All you have to do is show up, be ready to train your tail off, and get a taste of something you have never had! pankostrengthandspeed.com Feel free to ask any questions ap@pankostrengthandspeed.com
  7. I do not like to offer reasons/explanations and not solutions. BUT, and this is aside from the wrestlers we train...most of the athletes we train are kids that have 5'10" and shorter dads that believe they are going to play college basketball. I am all for young athletes dreaming, but I hate the fact that a lot of kids ride the pine in basketball because they have given up wrestling, or never wrestled because of a Div I/NBA dream. 3/5, 60% of the Big 10 Basketball First Team went to high school or goes to college in Indiana. It is a cultural thing. It is hard to break. I do think Indiana is moving in the right direction, and I have no doubt that school, club and private coaches will press on like hell to make sure the sport continues to grow in this state. 10. It has been an incredible season. For me, it has been one of the best and most exciting. There is no better time than now to start training for the 2013-2014 season and a handful that wrestled Friday and Saturday have already started the journey, though many of them continued training during the season. We have facilities in Plainfield and Westfield. We will also be starting Open Saturdays soon for those that are unable to make the drive during the week. 2012-2013 was the most prosperous season for wrestlers we serve. 22 Wrestlers that trained at PSS qualified for the Ft Wayne, New Castle, and Evansville Semi-States. 13 Wrestlers advanced to State 8 Placed - 2 @ 6th, 2 @ 4th, 2 @ 3rd, 1 Runner Up, 1 Champion We were also blessed to serve one of the State's Top Programs With the middle schoolers that are training and the underclassmen coming back, the 2013-2014 group can have more success. Since 2010, 23 times, wrestlers that trained at PSS have advanced to State, 16 placed, 11 placed Top 4, 3 were Runners Up, 3 were Champions. We are a success program that uses performance training as a vehicle to develop character and leadership, and 100% of the credit is due to those that train relentlessly, push their boundaries to new horizons, and refuse to settle for anything less than what they set to achieve. pankostrengthandspeed.com ap@pankostrengthandspeed.com
