  1. Nick Crume will be our guest clinician this week at the Avon RTC. Crume is a 4x NCAA Division II All-American, IHSAA State Champion, and current Assistant Coach at the University of Indianapolis. We've had great numbers the last few weeks and hope to see them climb as we get closer to ISWA Freestyle & Greco State. Avon RTC runs from 6:00-7:30 PM on Wednesdays. Please enter Door 20 on the southside of the school. USAW card required.   2. In an individual sport, an individual must stand a top the podium to be the best. In team sports, an individual can clearly be the best individual but not win team championships because of a lack of supporting cast members. When it comes to the GOAT, even in team sports, individuals will be judged in the end by titles. But the lack of titles does not eliminate them from the discussion. In individual sports it absolutely does - IMO.

  3. Aiden did not disappoint! Some great set ups and freestyle finishes to add in our tool kit! Great job Aiden. We will be back at it next week with Sean Schmaltz from contenders. 6pm, enter door 9. Just a few weeks left to prep for freestyle and greco state.

    Like Matt said, I figured OSU had a succession plan with Coleman Scott, who really elevated North Carolina during his tenure there. Those are some massive shoes to fill for Scott. Smith has always been one of my favorite figures in NCAA wrestling and I will miss his scowls matside. He often has a big presence at World Team and Olympic Team Trials and I'm sure this week will be no different.

  5. Joe's son, who is an avid Cubs fan happens to attend some club at Garrett, so I assume Double B would make his new home in the halls that sit on Houston Street..nothing wrong with that
