  1. I like the idea of 15, but adding it to the middle of the lineup. 106, 113, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 170,182, 195, 220, 285

  2. Our line up doesn't change unless you want to make the weight classes 141 145 190 200 220 230 240 250 Thinking about changing our name from wrestling team to "Lineman off season conditioning team" :}

  3. I would like to think there is enough participation in all of our schools to add a weight class..... However the reality is that it would most likely increase forfeits and unfortunately there are too many of those already.

  4. October was a busy month for some of the top middle school wrestlers. Rankings have been updated with Super32, GFC, Preseason Nationals, and Freakshow results added. Super32 was the toughest of the 4 tournaments, so those placing there made the biggest jumps. Congrats to unranked Duke Myers for winning his bracket there.

  5. If there is a double forfeit then the number of matches won would mean we would need tiebreakers.

  6. Our team would increase the number of forfeits in most years considering you're adding a bigger weight. Also the theres a lot of 106s are struggling to make 100 and I don't see that considering most 113 pounders are already cutting to get there that they would continue to cut to make 110. I think 14 weight classes is perfect. I also don't see the point of having 3 weight classes above 200 considering there's only 1 in college. This is all just opinion.

  7. When you say no chance for a tie, what are you referencing? There could still be a tie score -- do you mean the 1st TB could become matches won and that would decide the team winner?

  9. Non-Ohio Wrestlers May Apply Dear Parents & Coaches- We are now accepting applications thru 2022 for future Ohio All-Star Wrestling Teams. While we have not yet made a final decision as to whether there will be teams in 2021 and 2022, our hope is to do so. The 2022 Team would be the final Team we would do and would also mark the Team's 40th Anniversary. To receive an application, contact: bdbop@aol.com Interested wrestlers need to be: -enrolled in the 6th thru 9th grade during the school year preceding the summer they wish to travel -have an estimated summer weight of 68-150 pounds -have a minimum of a 2.5 (B-/C+) grade point average Applications received are judged on a combination of three things: wrestling achievements, academic honors and recommendations from references. Our Selection Committee has been instructed that they will be reviewing applications on a periodic basis and naming wrestlers to all possible teams. So, if you know of a possible candidate, please forward this information on to them. We also still have a couple of openings for the 2019 Team. While applications from all wrestlers would be considered, our main focus is on finding a good representative for the following: 6th or 7th grader currently around 70 pounds 6th, 7th or 8th grader currently around 80 pounds 8th or 9th grader around 118-140 pounds For additional information on the team, you can view the following Facebook page, or contact bdbop@aol.com: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1658250907549999/ Yours in Wrestling, Bart Freidenberg OASWT

    Top 100 Career Wins

    6 duals = 6 matches 6 tournaments with ten matches each = 60 matches Total max 66 This is obviously an extreme, but this is currently the cap.

    Top 100 Career Wins

    All of us old timers are gonna be rushing to get our records on here only to be knocked off by slower moving old timers with more wins than we have.

If you know of any teams or have a interest let us know. Also, does anybody know of any girl team invites going on in the state? Thanks for any ideas or leads!
